Spring and projects .........



Sundays are the days where we relax, play the guitar, have a swing or two or three and enjoy each other during breakfast hour. My eldest is learning how to play the guitar and the little one loves to hear her play. I caught a moment here with my eldest daughter teaching my son the guitar and the little one as their audience!!

we decided to go to the Medivial festival in Mdina......but a 'small' problem with parking lead us to buskett instead......

and then of course a nice cup of hot chocolate plus cake down at the Valletta water front....



and everyone was happy :)

I cannot believe my little baby boy is 6 today :) !! We woke him up with kisses and hugs, gave him his cards, best wishes and present, now we are baking a cake for later . His wish for the day is to go ice-skating. Wish you all a nice day.

note..... in one of the photos you can see my son with a big tub of Sudo-Cream...... Instead of getting really angry with him on that day all I did was laugh and laugh and took pictures and then asked hubby to help me clean up the mess (and believe me there was a BIG mess!).

Hello, It seems like ages since I've last posted. I haven't been spending much time on the computer or indoors for that matter. So here are some of the photos I've downloaded. Here's a few of the many things my family and I have been up to. We had football tournaments, walks, picnics and also we went ice-skating!! Yes Ice-skating is now also found on our tiny warm island. However I will put up a post soon on where this is found :) I hope you all had a nice Easter xx

Last Thursday was open day at the gymnastics school my daughter and her friends go to once a week. So armed with my pink little camera , my baby sling and my two daughters I went to see what these girls are up to during their gymnastic hour. I was very pleased to see the progress of all the girls most of all of my daughter of course. Oh how good it is to be young and stretchable!!

A post valentine photo of some crafts and cookies. Then a lovely sunny sunday afternoon spent in the country side, enjoying the fresh air and watching the kids playing. Oh what a great way to end one's weekend.

play with me please?..... some days I wake up at 6am, some days earlier who knows?. All I know is that I want to play.

Books....... a friend of mine suggested these three books for a good read. I've checked them out online. Now all I have to do is, drive myself to the library (or book shop :) and acquire these books.

With Carnival comes Valentines too this year so here we are in our little house making some decorations and enjoying dressing up. I've included also a small photo of Leah having her first nap in her new (well sort of :) baby bed.

It's official .... Leah is now a master of rolling over :), and there in the background my son with a sad face because his baby sister has completely destroyed a house he was building with his blocks !!

Update......... Well as some of my closest of friends now I have been busy house hunting for the past year or so!! Finding a house is fun but can also be a little stressful especially when you have to drag your children to yet ''another house!! oh no!!' 'I want to stay home mum'..... these were the continuous whinges I got from my children each time I tell them that we are going to see another house !! I had always wanted to own an old house, I simply love the way in which Maltese old house were built, they've got so much character. So after lots of viewings I think we got what we want. It is still to be converted so here are some pictures of how it is now .

The most depressing day of the year.....18th January 2010 !!

According to a british researcher from Cardiff University , January 18th is 2010's most depressing day. His formula for this takes into account factors like post-holiday blahs and debts, New Year's resolutions and this year the nasty chill that has reached much further south than usual. Apparently this time of year is the peak for feeling low. I would like to know what you think. For me this definately wasn't the most depressing day of this year.

With the help of a dear friend I managed to make a replica of the weather chart my 5 year old son has in his classroom and for some reason he wanted to have one at home !!

The beginning of a new year, the year 2010.

A new year brings new beginnings, new habits, stopping of old ones and maybe changes. Well for our family a day at the beach is something that will not be changed for a long time, whether it is summer or winter we love our days at the beach. We did some fishing well our friend really, but hey we were supporting him. So what better way to spend the very first day of 2010.

The end of this delightful day was a spectacular sunset.

Time to make that log. I love all the Christmas goodies but if I have to choose just two it will definitely be the Christmas log and mulled wine oh and maybe Baileys too!

Well here I am again. With too many things to do around the house, kids to entertain and a baby to keep well fed and carried it's becoming close to impossible for me to sit down here download photos and blog about them.

There is also something I want to share : my 5 year old son on Christmas day whilst driving back home in the evening after visiting family he announced that Santa will have to come home again and leave presents because the 25th is not over yet!!!
