Our Christmas holidays this year were full of snow .
Tucked away in a little village in the west of Germany we have spent two weeks of playing with snow, playing triominos, watching family movies and most important of all spending time together. Drinking mulled wine or eggnog and eating german sausages and yummy treats we had a much needed relaxing break. We went skiing, sledging and walking around the village enjoying the smell that came out of the chimneys.
And now back on this little island I wish you all a year full of health and happiness

So great to get back to your blog! WOW! That German holiday sounds WONDERFUL!!! We got lots of snow here, 8 inches!! IT was very unusual to have that much, and it was the coldest December in Northern Ireland since records began 100 years ago!!
Love you!!
Mary
Glad to read you enjoyed the snow and your holiday! December was the coldest december month we had in many years and I am really glad all the snow is gone. Not that all the rain and gray skies we are getting now is a delight but at least het icerink in front of our door has gone! Hospitals had a busy month treating all kinds of fractures!
Anyway wishing you all the best for 2011!
